Welcome to Pilates course for beginners! This course introduces us to the basics of Pilates and focuses on body control, strength and mobility development and the importance of correct breathing techniques. You will learn basic movements that strengthen the muscles of the core and improve overall body balance.

Join us for a relaxing and body-soothing Pilates class! The course is suitable for anyone who wants to get to know pilates for the first time or to deepen their basic skills.

Description

Pilates

Pilates is a body control method created by Joseph Pilates. Among other things, it is used to develop optimal posture, strengthen the core area and deepen breathing. The movements are varied to suit everyone’s level of ability, so this course is suitable for everyone.

Dress in casual and comfortable clothes for the class. You don’t necessarily need shoes for the class, so you can wear socks. However, you should bring your own water bottle and yoga mat. Our studio also has mats to borrow, so you don’t necessarily need to bring your own.

Hanna Heinonen

Hanna Heinonen is a personal trainer, certified massage therapist, occupational therapist and BASI Pilates instructor.
Hanna teaches a wide range of body maintenance classes and is currently completing her RYT200 yoga teacher certification.

Hanna found the joy of dance at the age of 14, when she started oriental dance. Ever since she has trained many different kinds of styles. During Hanna’s classes, the focus is on the joy, improvement of self-confidence and enjoying one’s own body.
