What Are Dance Courses?
In Flama’s dance courses, you can delve deeper into each dance style in course format. During the courses, you will get familiar with the dance style in question and learn different techniques as well as choreographies. The courses build on what you have already learned with the same familiar group of people.
We offer courses for all levels: from beginners to more experienced ones. If you are unsure about the right level for you, please contact us by email: info@flama.fi.
The courses vary in length: some last a few weeks, others the whole season. Most of our courses start at the beginning of the season, but there are also courses starting later, for example in the middle of the season. In addition, it is usually possible to join an ongoing course if you have danced before and the course is not full. If you want to sign up for an ongoing course, please contact us by email: info@flama.fi.
You can register for the courses by purchasing them from our webshop.
It is also possible to participate in individual course sessions with a series card or a single payment, if there are places available on the course. Places for individual course sessions are reserved in the booking system and become available one week before the start of the season.
What Are Drop-in Classes?
You can attend Flama’s drop-in classes whenever it suits you best. You can come and join the drop-in classes at any time of the season, no matter if you are just starting or you have been dancing before. Choreographies change frequently and are always rehearsed from the beginning, so that everyone can get into the flow of the class. You can also join beginner-level drop-in classes at any point during the season. This is a great way to come and try different dance classes!
You can join the drop-in classes as single payments, with a punch card or Anytime access. Payment can be made at the studio before the class or in advance in our online store.
Sign up for the classes through our reservation system.

Which Level Does Suit Me?
Finding the right level is always personal, and many factors influence it. We would also like to remind you that you can never practice the basics too much! The best way to find the right level is to try them out. Here are some descriptions of each level to give you an idea.
The beginner level is suitable for you if you are just starting to dance without previous dance experience or you want to get to know a new dance style.
The level for advanced beginners is suitable for you if you already know the basics of the dance style. This level is usually suitable for those who have been practicing actively and regularly for about half a year or a year.
The intermediate level is suitable for you if you have been practicing the sport regularly and actively for at least a couple of years. You have a good grasp of the basics of the sport.
The advanced level is suitable for you if you have danced this particular dance style actively and regularly for over several years.
Open level classes are more challenging than beginner classes. You can participate in an open level class if you are familiar with the basic techniques of the dance style in question. If you have a strong background in dance, you can participate in open level classes even if you have no experience in the specific style.

What Do the Classes Cost?
You can participate in drop-in classes with a single payment or a series card. Students and seniors can get a discount on our Anytime and punch cards meant for drop-in classes. You can purchase cards either from our webshop or at our studios.
You can register for dance courses by paying the course fee, which is determined by the length of the course. You can also participate in individual course sessions by paying a one-time fee or using a series card. Students and pensioners receive a 5% discount on course fees in the online store with the code KURSSIALE.
For the most enthusiastic dancers, there is an Anytime card, which gives unlimited access to dance courses and drop-in classes throughout the season. Anytime also offers student and senior discounts.
