Flama’s performing reggaeton group La Calentura is looking for new dancers for the spring season 2024. The group is lead by Mirka Saali. The group has been seen both at Flama’s events and on other performance stages.
La Calentura trains at Flama Rauhankatu (Rauhankatu 15, 20100 Turku) on Fridays 12.1.–24.5.2024 at 16:30–18:00. There are no trainings at Easter, the 29th of March 2024.
The training fee for spring 2024 is 285 €. All the members of the dance groups receive an additional 40 € discount on Flama’s Spring 2024 Anytime.
The group members are also expected to participate in our weekly reggaeton classes. The participation in the group requires a full commitment to the trainings and other group activities.
You can apply to join the group if you have previous dance experience and you enjoy dancing, learning new things and performing. The most important things are your motivation and commitment to training.
Write a motivation letter where you tell about your dance background and why you want to join the group. If you want, you can also send us a short dance video of yourself. Flama’s Commercial Dance Group Burnin’ Bellas is looking for new members for spring 2024! The dance group is led and choreographed by Effiina Jalonen.
Burnin’ Bellas trains at Flama Linnankatu on Tuesdays 9.1.–21.5.2024 at 19:30–21:00. There are no trainings on Tuesday, the 30th of April 2024.
The training fee for spring 2024 is 285 €. All the members of the dance groups receive an additional 40 € discount on Flama’s Spring 2024 Anytime.
The participation in the group requires a full commitment to training and group activities. The group members are also expected to participate in our weekly Commercial Dance classes and other dance classes.
You can apply if you have several years of dance experience and enjoy performing and goal-oriented training. The most important thing is motivation and commitment to training.
Write a motivation letter explaining your dance background and why you want to join the group. Send your motivational letter 17.12. by email: info@flama.fi. Please also send a short dance video of yourself. The video allows you to dance your strongest dance style. You can dance either alone or the video can be filmed for example in a dance class where you dance along in the video.

The dance group Flamacitas is now looking for a few new intermediate/advanced Cuban Salsa dancers!
Would you like to train Cuban Salsa and performing skills in a wonderful group? The group practices technique, solo choreographies and performing skills by immersing itself in the Cuban dance and music culture. In spring 2024, the group is lead by a Cuban dance teacher, Roberto La Rosa Martinez.
Flamacitas trains at Flama Rauhankatu (Rauhankatu 15)on Thursdays 11.1.–16.5.2024 at 17:30–18:25.
The training fee for spring 2024 is 180 €. The course fee includes 18 x 55 min training sessions. There is no class on the 20th of February.
All the members of the dance groups receive an additional 40 € discount on Flama’s Spring 2024 Anytime.
You can apply to join the group if you have danced Cuban salsa for several years and on the intermediate/advanced level and you enjoy performing and goal-oriented training. The most important things are your motivation and commitment to training.
Submit your application before the 17th of December by sending a motivation letter to info@flama.fi. Please attach a short dance video of yourself to the application.
Active participation in our weekly classes is considered to be an advantage in the selection of group members.

Falla Flame is Flama’s performing dancehall group. Dancehall is a Jamaican street dance style that does not lack any attitude! Falla Flame’s acrobatic choreographies are full of self confidence and power.
Falla Flame performans for example in different events, parties and music videos. In spring 2024, the group is lead by Eve Vuorenmaa and Japs.
The group trains with Eve at Flama Linnankatuon Wednesdays 10.1.–14.2.2024 at 20:15–21:10 and with Japs on Wednesdays 28.2.-22.5.2024 at 19:15–20:10..
The training fee for spring 2024 is 180 €. All the members of the dance groups receive an additional 40 € discount on Flama’s Spring 2024 Anytime.
The participation in the group requires a full commitment to training and group activities. In addition to the group’s trainings, the members of the group are expected to participate actively in our weekly classes.
You can apply to join the group if you have previous dance experience in Dancehall, Reggaeton, Twerk or for example Hip Hop. Enthusiasm and genuine motivation for learning and dancehall culture are the most important things. The training in the group is goal-oriented and requires full commitment to the group’s trainings and other activities. The age limit for the group is 18.
Write a concise motivation letter in which you explain why you want to join the group. Please tell about your dance background as well. Send your motivation letter 17.12. by email: info@flama.fi. If you wish, you can also add a short dance video of yourself as an attachment. In the video, you can dance your strongest dance style, it does not need to be dancehall. It is optional to send the video.

Bouncy Crew is Flama’s performing twerk group that is lead by Meri Niemi. The group actively performs for example in various parties and events. The group is now looking for a few new members for the spring season.
Bouncy Crew trains at Flama Rauhankatu on Mondays 8.1.–20.5.2024 at 19:15–20:45.
The training fee for spring 2024 is 270 €. All the members of the dance groups receive an additional 40 € discount on Flama’s Spring 2024 Anytime.
The participation in the group requires a full commitment to training and group activities. The group members are also expected to participate actively in our weekly twerk classes.
You can apply to join the group if you know the basic twerk techniques and you enjoy performing and goal-oriented training. The most important things are your motivation and commitment to the trainings.
Write a concise motivation letter in which you tell about your twerk and possible other dance background and explain why you want to join the group. Send us your motivation letter before the 17th of December 2023 by email: info@flama.fi. Please attach a short twerk video of yourself as well. You can dance alone in the video or it can be filmed ín the class you have joined.
