The class will practice body control and activation of the hip + pelvis. We practise semi-advanced twerk moves such as bend ova, booty clap and jiggle/exercise. Also we will learn how to use these movements in different forms of choreography.
Awa Sowe
Awa Sowe is a self-taught, passionate and culturally driven dancer. She is currently known for his twerk business Twercture, through which she teaches twerk workshops around Finland. Her work focuses mainly on twerk technique and lectures on the history and culture of twerk.
