Would you like to dance for cheerful latin rhythms? In this course aimed at over 60-year-olds, we dance different Latin dances in a sunny athmosphere! The course starts from the very basics, so you don’t need previous experience in any kind of dance.

The Solo Latin 60 + classes are primarily aimed at people over 60 years of age. The classes are filled with different Latin dances and energetic feeling. The dance styles include inter alia bachata, salsa, cha cha cha, rumba, merengue, samba and jive.
The dancers are taken into consideration when determing the content of the course. The beginners’ course is suitable for everyone interested in dancing.
When you come to the classes, it is a good idea to bring shoes suitable for dancing, sporty clothes and a bottle of water.
Mirka has a long history of different dance styles. She started dancing at the age of seven with ballroom dancing and continued until her teenage years. She found dance again in 2010 and got into Latin rhythms, especially Cuban dances. After that, she has tried several different dance styles, such as broadway, twerk, pole dance and various partner dances. However, Show Burlesque took her heart and gave a whole new meaning for dancing. None of Mirka’s classes is identical. Years of experience is reflected in insightful and skilled choreographies that have been inspired by all the dance styles Mirka has danced. As a teacher, Mirka is engaging and determined, but relaxed at the same time. There is always a cheerful atmosphere in the classes. According to Mirka, the most important thing in teaching is the joy of dancing, enjoying the music and your own movement, and testing the limits.
Mirka has been part of different dance groups. Earlier she was the choreographer and one of the dancers in the Show Burlesque dance group called glamGRLS’n’pantyHOES. Mirka is currently leading two performing dance groups: Show Burlesque group Flaming firecrackers and Latin show group Flama Crew.
