Do you want to learn more fun shuffling? This shuffle course is suitable for you if you have mastered the basic shuffle moves, such as the running man, T-step, and Charleston. In the course, you will learn additional shuffling and cutting shapes movements and step sequences, as well as vary familiar basic moves through different choreographies.
The course is suitable for those who have, for an example, attended the Shuffle beginners course.

For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Take your water bottle with you.
Shuffle dance is a fast-paced, foot-focused street dance that was born in Melbourne, Australia in the 1980s. It is often danced to EDM, Techno and House. Shuffle is a fun way to move, and it improves coordination and especially strengthens the leg muscles. Iida’s Shuffle classes have an encouraging and cheerful atmosphere.
Iida is a 26-year-old shuffle dancer and teacher from Turku. Iida started learning shuffle by watching YouTube videos and attending a few workshops. Later, she began taking various online courses and private lessons from teachers around the world. Her style is a mix of Melbourne shuffle and cutting shapes.
Iida’s strength in shuffle dancing lies particularly in her technique, as she has spent a lot of time refining different movements. She likes to break movements down into pieces and study them. This is also reflected in her teaching style, as she goes through the moves step by step in her classes and focuses on practicing the correct technique. The classes involve a lot of repetition, but without forgetting to have fun.
The most important thing for Iida as a teacher is to create an encouraging atmosphere and ensure that everyone has a safe space to learn new things.
