This high-energy workshop combines the best of two popular dance styles! You’ll begin by practicing the techniques used in the choreography, then bring them together as you learn an energetic and confident routine created by Pirita.
The workshop is suitable for dancers who are already familiar with the fundamentals of twerk. No previous experience with Commercial Dance classes is required.
Get ready for a hot and seductive workshop! We’ll explore smooth, sensual movement, interpret different rhythms in the music, and deepen your connection to your own movement through a variety of exercises. After that, you’ll learn a choreography created by Pirita that combines feminine power, playful expression, and floorwork. You’re welcome to bring a pair of heels if you’d like to dance in them. Knee pads or leg warmers are also recommended to protect your knees during floorwork.
The workshop is suitable for dancers who train regularly, such as those who attend Commercial Dance classes.
Pirita is a vibrant and energetic twerk professional with over a decade of experience in the style. She has been training, performing, teaching, and competing in twerk since 2016, both in Finland and internationally. Her latest achievements include winning the Finnish Twerk Championship in 2026 and first place in an international team competition in 2025. A few years ago, Pirita also fell in love with a more sensual style of dance, which has since become an important part of her artistic expression.
Creating a welcoming and safe environment is one of Pirita’s top priorities, as she knows that learning something new can sometimes feel intimidating. As a teacher, Pirita is positive, humorous, and encouraging. Her goal is for every student to leave each class not only with new skills, but also with a big smile.
