Lyrical Dance

In this Lyrical Dance course, you can throw yourself into an emotional choreography and enjoy interpreting music through dance. The classes include exercises in Contemporary and Jazz Dance Techniques and Choreography. In Lyrical dance, the choreography is strongly based on the melody and beats of the music and the lyrics of the song.

Effiina Campomanes

Effiina Campomanes is a versatile and experienced dancer, dance video producer and determined choreographer and teacher who always encourages dancers to challenge themselves and to try new things. She graduated as a professional dancer from Turku Conservatory in 2012 and today she works as a dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and video producer. In her energetic and physical choreographies, she always focuses on movement versatility, visuality and surprise. Effiina is a chameleon that challenges and breaks genre boundaries, switching roles seamlessly both in front of and behind the camera.

Dance has always played a big role in her life and Effiina, who has been performing for almost 30 years, has a strong musicality and an expression that is contagious to the back of the audience. For her, dance is primarily about storytelling and turning music into movement. The stage is Effiina’s second home and she has been seen on stage in both dance productions and musicals. In addition to performing, she also enjoys competing a lot, the biggest merits are Finnish and European championships in cheerleading.

Effiina leads two dance groups – FRLSS CREW, specialised in dance videos, and Flama’s Burnin’ Bellas. At Flama, her classes include commercial dance and Latin commercial. You can also book a variety of private lessons, such as bachelor party lessons and tyhy lessons. Private lessons can be commercial, Latin commercial, twerk or even latin dancing. Effiina produces choreographies and designs shows for clients also on demand.
