The course fee includes 4 x 55 min sessions.
You can also sign up without your own dance partner and participate in the exchange ring. We take care of the balance between leaders and followers, so please specify in your order whether you dance as a leader or a follower in the course. Attention! Son is an elegant Cuban music and dance style, often referred to as the “mother” of salsa, as Cuban son is the foundation of Cuban salsa. Son is considered to have developed from changüí music, which was a mixture of Spanish canción and African rhythm music. The rhythm/timing of the steps and movements in Son is contratiempo, i.e. different from Salsa. The dancing is joyful and energetic, but at the same time there are emotional and sensitive moments.
Roberto “Robe” La Rosa Martinez is a Cuban dancer and dance teacher whose sunny classes are full of joy and positive energy cannot be avoided! Robe combines his uncompromising professionalism with his own true love of dance. So from his classes everyone will have new skills as well as confidence in finding their own dance style and – most importantly – the joy of dancing.
