Commercial Dance is dance class that utilizes and combines the techniques of different dance styles and seeks a bold attitude inspired by music videos. In the classes, we learn choreography, but we also focus on performing and how to develop and trust one’s own unique way of moving.

The course fee includes 19 x 55 min classes. There is no class on the 30th of April 2024.

During the class, we learn a choreography and additionally focus on performance as well as the development and confidence in one’s own unique body language. We throw ourselves into different styles of choreoraphies and have fun together!
It is good to bring your own indoor shoes to the class, but you can also participate without shoes.
Effiina Jalonen is a versatile and experienced dancer, dance video producer and determined choreographer and teacher who always encourages dancers to challenge themselves and to try new things She graduated as a professional dancer from Turku Conservatory in 2012 and today she works as a dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and video producer. In her energetic and physical choreographies, she always focuses on movement versatility, visuality and surprise. Effiina is a chameleon that challenges and breaks genre boundaries, switching roles seamlessly both in front of and behind the camera.
Effiina is leading two dance groups – FRLSS CREW specialised in dance videos and Flama’s Burnin’ Bellas commercial dance group. At Flama, Effiina has for example Commercial Dance and Latin Commercial classes.
