Marko Poskiparta is a 26-year-old magician, mentalist, performance coach, DJ and BBA. Marko performs professionally all over Finland, but most of his performances are concentrated in the Turku area. He has received praise for his work as a magician & mentalist from both the top in the industry and hundreds of customers and party organisers all over Finland. Marko’s prize cabinet includes the 2014 Junior Magician’s Championship bronze medal and the 2014 & 2017 Restaurant Magician’s Championship finals. In addition to the magician awards, Marko appeared in the Talent Suomi TV show in 2016.
Professionally, Marko specialises in mentalism. The Finnish equivalent of a mentalist could be a seer, as mentalism means the illusion of reading minds. While a magician’s miracle may be the result of sleight of hand and carefully planned timing, a mentalist’s amazing performances are based on showmanship, deception and psychology. These create a sense of magic and give the audience the illusion of the supernatural.
Marko creates the illusion of mind-reading and the supernatural in a 30-minute Showman performance. Showman is an interactive performance for everyone, which cannot be explained but must be experienced. Marko’s performance style does not involve embarrassing/ridiculing the audience or assistants, so the audience and assistants are allowed to relax during the performance. This is an amazingly fun show, during which the audience will be able to enjoy the magic to the full.
In close-up magic, Marko brings wonders and magic of mind to the fingertips of every spectator. In close-up magic, he circulates among the audience, performing for groups of 2–10 people at a time. The duration of the close-up magic is always agreed upon separately, but during one hour Marko has time to amaze about 50 party guests with his skills. Close-up magic works best in combination after the show, for example over coffee.
