Nunu Ahtiainen

Nunu is a director of theater expression and a teacher of flamenco dance.

Dance has been a part of Nunu’s life since she took ballet lessons as a child. Fifteen years ago, she selected flamenco as “her own genre”. She was really impressed by its beauty and fervor, sensitivity and ferocity.

Flamenco is a music and dance form from the regions of Andalusia. In its dozens of different styles, you can see and hear the whole spectrum of life, from dark tones to joyful ones. In dance, Nunu is fascinated by the power of expression, contrasting body movements and, of course, foot technique typical of the dance (rhythmic strikes with shoes). The dancer is a percussionist, creates music, wonderful!

Nunu has been studying flamenco since 2008 with dance and singing courses in her home country and in the birthplace of the dance in Spain whenever possible.
