Bachata Solo

Bachata is a sensual and emotional dance and music style that is originally from the Dominican Republic. Today, bachata is a very popular dance with different styles: Dominican traditional style, sensual bachata and bachata fusion combining different styles. The Sensual Bachata style was born in Cadiz, Spain, and was invented by Korke Escalona and Judith Cordero.

In bachata solo classes, you learn step variations and foot technique of bachata, body movements, styling and musicality. At Flama, the bachata classes are mainly based on sensual bachata and bachata fusion. Bachata music is full of emotion and offers a lot of possibilities for various styling.

You can dance in the classes with dance sneakers, dance heels or socks. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable clothes with you.

Here you can listen to bachata music.

Bachata Ladies Style

In the Bachata Ladies Style classes, you learn about body language, styling and musicality that are also essential for couple bachata. The classes are full of feminine energy and self-confidence. They are based on Bachata Sensual and Bachata Fusion styles.
