Start your week with gentel yoga! The classes consist of different breathing exercises, meditation as well as the physical side of yoga, also know as asana practice. We will also explore the philosophy of yoga, learn what yoga really is and how to bring yoga practice into your daily life. The practices are done at a gentle pace.

This course is suitable for beginners; you can participate without any previous yoga experience.

What if I can’t participate every week?

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.

What should I bring with me?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and feel good.

You don’t need shoes for the class, but you can bring your own water bottle and yoga/stretching mat. Our studio also has mats available to borrow for the duration of the class.

Lotta Lähteenmäki

Lotta Lähteenmäki graduated as a dance teacher in 2010 and has been teaching dance for over 20 years. Her teaching experience covers a wide range of genres, levels, and age groups. Lotta’s teaching combines the joy of movement, technical expertise, and a deep connection to one’s own body.

Lotta is also a trained yoga instructor and dance and movement therapist. These backgrounds are reflected in her teaching through gentleness, body awareness, and a compassionate approach to learning. Her classes have a warm, positive, and safe atmosphere where everyone is welcome to be themselves.

For Lotta, dance and movement are a lifelong love and source of strength. She believes that movement can heal, liberate, and empower—and that everyone has the right to find their own way of expressing themselves through dance.
