Flama’s Rental Terms and Conditions
Rental of the Premises
There is an hourly rent for Flama’s premises. The price of the rent is 50 €/h + 100 € cleaning fee. The minimum rental time for a party is 8 hours. If you rent the premises for example from 5 pm to 1 am (8 hours in total), the price is 400 € + 100 € cleaning fee = 500 € (including 25,5 % VAT).
There is a reservation fee of 200 € that should be paid when confirming the reservation. The reservation fee will be paid on Flama’s webshop and this amount is deducted from the final rent. The remaining amount of the rent will be invoiced by Dance Studio Flama during the same week the party takes place.
Rental Time
The rental period starts when you come to prepare the premises, i.e. the time when Dance Studio Flama can no longer use the dance halls for dancing. The beginning and the end of the rental period must be agreed in advance.
Flama will set the tables and chairs as well as disco lights ready before the rental period starts. A member of Flama’s staff will be present at the beginning of the rental to show the premises and assist how to use the audio system.
The renter is obliged to close the doors, windows and electronic devices before leaving the premises. The premises should be empty and ready for the cleaning when the rental time ends. If the premises are not empty, there will be an additional charge of 150 €.
If agreed separately in advance, some of the items can be left in the premises, if they do not interfere with cleaning. The items must be picked up the next day before the dance classes start.
Cleaning
Dance Studio Flama will take care of the final cleaning, and it costs 100 €. The cleaning fee is always added to the rental price.
The renter must collect all the trash into garbage bags, and empty bottles and cans must be sorted separately. The garbage bags for the trash can be left in the premises, whereas the renter is responsible for removing the bottles and cans as well as other personal property that they have brought to the premises.
The parquet in the dance halls is poorly resistant to moisture, so the renter must clean up spilled liquids on the parquet during the reservation and make sure that there are no garbage bags or other items that might leak on the floor.
Use of the Premises
No smoke machines may not be used in the premises, and confetti is not allowed as decoration. In addition, nothing may be taped or glued to the floor, windows or mirrors.
The dance hall has parquet flooring intended for dancing, so you may not enter with outdoor shoes. You must change your shoes or wear socks.
You can bring your own food and drinks to the premises.
Flama Linnankatu: Studio Premises and Equipment
The studio on Linnankatu has the following facilities:
- A big dance hall (95 m2)
- a small dance hall
- A lounge area with two sofas
- A kitchen
- Two toilets, of which one is barrier-free and includes a shower
- An entrance hall
- Dressing rooms
There is a parking area behind the studio and there are nine customer spaces marked with Flama signs. You can leave the car in these spaces overnight.
Kitchen Equipment
- a fridge
- A microwave
- A coffee machine and a kettle
- A stove and an oven
- Attention! There is no freezer.
It is a good idea to bring your own serving dishes and cutlery to the facilities, as they are very limited in the studio.
Furniture
- 10 tables (75 cm x 180 cm)
- Chairs for around 50 people
- Three larger dustbins and garbage bags for them
- Sofas in the lounge
We also recommend that you bring your own tablecloths, because there are not any in the studio. More information about the tables can be found on Jysk’s website.

Accessibility
- A ramp at the front door
- A barrier-free toilet
- There are no high thresholds.
Please let us know in advance if you need a ramp, so that it can be installed prior to the rental.
Flama Rauhankatu: Studio Premises and Equipment
The studio on Rauhankatu has the following facilities:
- A big dance hall (93 m2)
- A small dance hall (45 m2)
- A lounge with two sofas
- A kitchen
- A dressing room
- Two toilets
The studio does not have customer parking, but there are several off-street parking spaces nearby.

- A freezer
- A microwave
- There are no serving dishes or cutlery.
It is a good idea to bring your own serving dishes and cutlery to the facilities, as they are very limited in the studio.

Cancellation Conditions
Our cancellation conditions start to apply when the reservation is confirmed.
The renter is obliged to pay a reservation fee of 200 € after confirming the reservation. The reservation fee is not refunded, even if the reservation is canceled.
If the confirmed reservation is canceled less than 7 days before the
reservation date, the renter must pay for the entire rent. In that case, the cleaning fee is not charged. In that case, the cleaning fee is not charged.
Other Rental Terms
The renter is obliged to compensate for the damages caused by the users allowed in the space during the reservation.
The renter is responsible for the users of the space throughout the reservation.
If Dance Studio Flama’s furniture, equipment and other belongings are lost,
damaged or misused during the rental, the renter is obliged to fully compensate Flama Ltd for all damages.
If there are minors in the event, there must be at least one responsible adult present.
