Access to the Port of Turku via Linnankatu is blocked from April 28 to June 18, 2026. The closure does not apply to public transport or those traveling on foot or by bicycle.
The parking spaces next to the port’s bus station—that is, the on-street parking along Neljännen linjan katu—will also be out of service until the week beginning June 15.
We apologize that the roadworks are affecting your access to the studio.

Access by car
Starting from Tuesday, April 28, those coming from the center of Turku must choose a detour route via Tukholmankatu and Pansiontie to get to Juhana Herttua Puistokatu and from there to Satamakatu. The route will be guided starting from Koulukatu.
Flama’s parking lots are still available behind the studio building and there are also parking spots available on Satamakatu. You drive past the port bus station to Flama’s parking lot.
Please note that street parking on Neljännen linjan katu—specifically, the parking spaces across from the harbor bus station—will be unavailable until the week beginning June 15.
Access by bus
Shuttle buses operated by Föli, the Turku region’s public transportation system, will continue to run through the construction site, and the closure of Linnankatu from April 28 to June 18 will not affect public transportation. During the roadwork, the most convenient way to reach the studio by bus is from the Viking Line terminal stop, which is about a 6-minute walk away. Studion edessä olleet bussipysäkit ovat edelleen pois käytöstä.
Access by bike or on foot
During the closure of Linnankatu from April 28 to June 18, a route will be marked for pedestrians coming from the city center near the construction site. Cyclists can either walk along this route or follow the signs to the route past Forum Marinum.
The studio can be reached by bicycle or on foot from the city center through Turku Castle Park and Nuottasaarenkatu, which runs between Turku Castle and the Aura River. When coming from the Herttuankulma direction, you must either go through Linnanpuisto or take the detour to Linnankatu.
Please allow a little extra time to arrive at the studio so that we can start the classes on time. Thank you for your understanding.
