You can participate in an open level workshop even if you have no previous experience of the sport. However, previous dance experience would be a good idea, as you will not be starting from scratch.
As its name suggests, the Broadway workshop draws its inspiration from the world of musicals. The exercises and choreography of the workshop are based on jazz dance techniques, and are of course performed to the music of the musicals. The class will explore elegant step sequences, accents and expressive movement language – elements that create the sparkling energy of musicals.
The workshop will also give you the opportunity to practice expression, interpretation and storytelling through dance. This workshop is a great way to develop your own performance skills.

Tiia Anttila is a cheerful an approachable dance teacher and a qualified Pilates instructor. She graduated as a dance teacher from Oulu University of Applied Sciences in 2020 and has also studied dance in Melbourne, Australia.
Tiia dances a variety of different dance styles: Show Dance, Contemporary Dance, Latin dances and various couple dances. She also teaches Pilates and Body Maintenance classes. Tiia’s passion is especially wedding dances, their choreography planning, Show and Contemporary Dance as well as Pilates.
Tiia’s classes have a safe and warm atmosphere where everyone can succeed at their own level. Tiia particularly enjoys watching her students progress and seeing the joy that comes from learning something new. For Tiia, dance is best shared.

Forecast for the coming summer: lots of dancing and sunshine! ☀️ Flama’s summer schedule has now been released. The summer season will be danced from June 1 to August 23, 2026. This summer, there will be a whole range of different short courses, drop-in classes, and of course, the popular park classes!
On your wedding day, many things can feel nerve-wracking but your wedding dance doesn’t have to be one of them! At Flama’s one-time wedding waltz course, you’ll practice the traditional waltz starting from the very basics. The course will give you confidence in your dance steps and help you learn the fundamentals of the waltz.
