Summer 2024 Schedule is out now!

Flama’s summer season starts on Monday the 27 of May and ends on Sunday the 25th of August. During the summer season, we offer dance courses and drop-in classes from Monday to Thursday, as well as events and workshops in the weekends.

The summer schedule includes couple and solo salsa, commercial dance, twerk, reggaeton, hip hop, couple and solo bachata, urban kiz, show dance, pilates, heels, oriental dance, flamenco, contemporary dance and much more! Class levels range from beginner to more challenging advanced classes. Classes are held throughout the summer at both of our studios, Flama Linnankatu (Linnankatu 84, Turku) and Flama Rauhankatu (Rauhankatu 15, Turku).

Flama is a dance community for adults with a relaxed atmosphere, where everyone can enjoy dancing as themselves. We have an inspiring, positive and encouraging atmosphere in our classes. We think that movements and the joy of dance belong to everyone, regardless of gender, age, size or skill level. Flama’s values are transparency, accessibility, respect for different people and cultures, and community.

Dance courses, drop-in-classes and events

We offer nearly 60 dance classes this summer, ranging from beginner to advanced levels! So there’s something for everyone! Summer courses run for from 4 to 6 weeks and can be enrolled in our online shop.

There are also weekly drop-in classes at Flama, which you can attend when it suits you best. You can join our drop-in classes for a one-off fee or with a serial card, and Flama also offers a student discount! Places for drop-in classes are booked through our booking system.

We also organise workshops with visiting teachers and various events in the summer. For example, in June we will enjoy the wonderful rhythms of salsa and the stunning atmosphere of Villa Järvelä at our Salsa & Sauna events.

Dance all summer long with unlimited anytime

With summer anytime card you can dance unlimited for the whole season (27.5.-25.8.2024), as many classes per week as you want! The summer anytime price includes both our drop-in classes and all our dance classes. Students and pensioners get the anytime card at a reduced price.
