Cano Monroy has 14 years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher working in Mexico, USA and Europe. He has appeared in numerous big productions and international festivals, and danced in the music videos of Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen and other reggaeton artists and with several artists (Kaija Koo, Dulce Maria, Maite Perroni, etc.). He has also worked and performed e.g. For Adidas, Latin billboards, Finnish National Opera and also worked as a model in fashion shows in heels. He has lived in Finland for a few years now, but is moving to Los Angeles after this spring. So now it’s worth taking the opportunity and participating in his unique classes before he leaves Finland.
“As we should know, there are an infinite number of ways to dance, but in this block we will focus on expressing sensuality and passion on stage when dancing in heels. We will use slow and sexy music to explore and do different qualities of movement.
The class begins with a warm-up, exercises to explain the technique, which is what is needed to dance on stage, and a small choreography that unites all the elements that we handle during the class.”
