A visiting dance teacher Tatjana Kravĉenkiene will visit Turku and have her Urban kiz workshops at Flama Rauhankatu on Saturday, the 26th of November.

13:00–14:15 Urban Kiz Foundations (advanced beginners level, this class is not for very beginners, but for those with some previous experience in Urban kiz or kizomba)
14:30–15:45 Urban Kiz, intermediate level (more than 1 year of weekly classes needed)

Tatjana have been dancing for 19 years. Half of that time she was focused on solo dances like hip-hop and contemporary. Her journey into couple dances begun 11 years ago with salsa and bachata. In 2012 she dived into kizomba and very soon organized a small group of friends to share passion and practice together at home which two years later shifted to dance school and transformed into teaching. In 2015, after moving back to Europe, she decided to learn more about different styles, music and history by actively attending different festivals and workshops, taking private lessons and different teacher’s trainings. From 2017 she is a part of Azembora team and running weekly classes in different styles.

Forecast for the coming summer: lots of dancing and sunshine! ☀️ Flama’s summer schedule has now been released. The summer season will be danced from June 1 to August 23, 2026. This summer, there will be a whole range of different short courses, drop-in classes, and of course, the popular park classes!
On your wedding day, many things can feel nerve-wracking but your wedding dance doesn’t have to be one of them! At Flama’s one-time wedding waltz course, you’ll practice the traditional waltz starting from the very basics. The course will give you confidence in your dance steps and help you learn the fundamentals of the waltz.
