at 12:15–13:15 Salsaton, intermediate (Solo class)
– combining the body movements of reggaeton to salsa
at 13:30–15:00 Couple Salsa Styling, intermediate (Pair class)
– On this class, we will jump into the world of Salsa Styling to make our dance even more cheerful and stylish! We warmly recommend both leaders and followers also to participate in preceding Salsaton class! Basic skills in Couple Salsa required.

MATIAS LÖYTTYNIEMI
Matias is a popular dance teacher who emphasizes the joy of dance and musical interpretation. He has taught dancing over ten years in different dance studios around Finland. As a dance teacher, he wants to make sure that people get the idea and the right technique of dancing, because that is only when dancing can be enjoyed in full swing!
On Sunday, the 9th of September, Flama will be filled with explosive energy and attitude! Evaleena ‘JaMami’ Vuorenmaa, one of the top names in Finland’s dancehall scene, will come to Flama for Dancehall Queenstyle and Commercial Dance intensive courses!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
COMMERCIAL DANCE
Commercial Dance is an urban fusion dance that combines techniques of different dance styles and looks for music video inspired bold attitude and show feeling. The class will focus on choreography.
DANCEHALL QUEENSTYLE
Dancehall is a street dance that was born in Jamaica and it continues to develop. During the Dancehall Queenstyle class, we will concentrate on women’s own dance style. Attitude, feminine moves and steps and possibly also acrobatics will be involved. Bring a water bottle and knee pads or leg warmers to the class to protect your knees.
JAMAMI
Evaleena ”JaMami” Vuorenmaa has been teaching street and show dances for over 15 years. At the moment, she teaches weekly classes in four different dance schools in Tampere, Ylöjärvi and Jyväskylä. She also gives intensive courses regularly around the country. Evaleena is one of the leading Dancehall teachers in Finland. She finds her self-development extremely important and that is why she participates in intensive courses and private classes given by top teachers both in Finland and abroad. Eve wants to stay up-to-date to offer only the best for her students. There are not many significant DH dancers or teachers that have not been teaching Evaleena yet. Evaleena has currently two performing and competing dancehall groups called JaMam’s Cats sekä Rumble Squad.
