Description
What if I can’t participate every week?
Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.
What should I bring with me?
For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Also take a water bottle with you and remember to drink enough after class.
Couple Bachata (moderna)
This level is a continuation for Couple Bachata Course for Beginners. The course is suitable for those who have attended beginner weekly classes in Couple Bachata for about six months. In this course, we continue with the basics as well as expand our knowledge by learning how to vary and combine the basics in new ways.
The Bachata Moderna style taught in this course is characterized by spins, dynamic step patterns, and step variations. The style has been influenced by salsa, among other dances. The dance style is more open than sensual bachata and involves fewer body waves/rolls.
Giuseppe De Luca
In 2018, Giuseppe started dancing salsa and bachata in Italy, about six months before moving to Finland. Since then, dance has been a big part of Giuseppe’s life. Over the years, he has focused especially on bachata and has had the opportunity to train with international artists, such as Ataca and La Alemana. Giuseppe has also completed their dance teacher training, which dives deeper into their signature style, Bachata Moderna – a smooth, expressive and dynamic style of bachata.
“Whether it’s your first time dancing or you’ve already taken a few steps before, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, connect with your dance partner, and above all, enjoy the music and have fun on the dance floor,” says Giuseppe.
