Ballet dancers, come shine in the spotlight and gain valuable performance experience!
In this course, we will rehearse a performance designed by Lyylia Koivuniemi, which will be presented at the Flama Xmas Show at Linnateatteri on Tuesday, December 8. The participants of the course commit to perform in the show.
This course is intended for dancers with some experience in ballet who have mastered the basic techniques. It is suitable for those who have been actively dancing ballet for at least three years, such as participants in Flaman’s intermediate and advanced adult ballet classes.
Time: Mondays 5.10.–7.12. at 18:15–19:10
Place: Flama Rauhankatu (Rauhankatu 15, 20100 Turku)

The course fee includes 10 x 55 min sessions.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and feel good.
You can dance in your socks or in soft ballet shoes designed for practice. Be sure to bring a water bottle with you.
Lyylia is a dance teacher and professional dancer born in Turku. She studied at the Royal Danish Ballet School and the National Opera Ballet School and competed internationally before becoming a professional dancer. Her professional career has included classical leading roles, world premieres, international tours, and performances at galas and on television.
Now Lyylia focuses on teaching ballet and body maintenance, which has become her great passion. Lyylia’s teaching emphasizes a caring and knowledgeable approach, where, in addition to careful and safe dance technique, the classes always seek ways to empathize and enjoy dance.
The most rewarding thing for Lyylia is when she can spread her love of dance and share it with her own dance students.
