Tonight on Friday, the 24th of August, we will have the first socials, aka free dancing, of the autumn term from 8 pm to 12 pm. Please welcome to have fund, enjoying dancing, great music and friends in a relaxed atmosphere! The playlist includes salsa, bachata and kizomba.
Entrance fee: 5 € (card or cash)
Remember to take your dance shoes or other indoor shoes with you because the shoes used outdoors will be left in the lobby.
Dance Studio Flama is located next to Turku Castle at Linnankatu 84. Bus Line 1 (Market Square–Turku Harbor) will stop just in front of Flama at the bus stop called Satamakatu and the bus trip from market square to the dance studio takes around 10 minutes. Check the bus schedule at http://www.foli.fi/ to choose the right time to come. If you decide to come by your own car, there are free parking spaces behind the dance studio and other parking options nearby, such as chargeable parking lots or ones requiring a parking disk.

There will be more free dancing also on Sunday, when the last Dance at the Castle of this summer takes place at Turku Castle Linnanpuisto. The park dances and Latin-Afro Socials are held on Sunday, the 26th of August from 5 pm to 8 pm.
The dance class is held from 5 pm to 6 pm, and this time we will have pair kizomba. The class is suitable for the beginners, so everyone is more than welcome to join. You can participate in the class either with your own pair or without and the class costs 5 €. You can pay it by card or cash, and the instructors of the class are Carlos Camba and Ida Koho who are teaching both kizomba and semba at Dance Studio Flama.
After the dance class, there will be free dancing from 6 pm to 8 pm with Latin-Afro rhythms. We will have salsa, bachata and kizomba at least. These socials are open for everyone and they are free of charge.
If the weather does not look that good, we will have the dance class and the socials inside of Dance Studio Flama instead. Otherwise the location is on the harbour side of Turku Castle where you can get easily with the bus number 1.

Welcome to celebrate May Day by dancing at Flama. The evening will start with Anna Ketopaikka’s pre-party couple salsa workshop and continue with social dances.
