Adult Ballet

During the adult ballet classes, we will go through classical ballet technique, practise ballet-specific expression and some choreographic phrases towards the end of the class. The class includes barre exercises, centre practice and free routines. Ballet develops deep muscles and improves balance, coordination and posture. In addition, the bodily expression gains new dimensions.

The adult ballet class creates a common space in which we can, at a gentle pace, combine practice and fun. Relaxed, cheerful and bright dancing, but still keeping the main focus.

When coming to the class, you need comfortable dance clothes and socks or other soft ballet shoes.

Ballet Technique

During ballet technique class, you will practice and revise the techniques of ballet mainly by the ballet bar, focusing on strengthening muscles and improving mobility. The class proceeds in a calm pace and concentrates on one topic at a time, so it is suitable for all levels.

You need comfortable dance clothes and socks or other soft ballet shoes.

Barre

Barre class is a hybrid workout class – combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Barre workouts strengthen the body and improve posture. To attend the class, you do not need to have any previous dance experience, so it is suitable for everyone. The class does not include a choreography but various series of moments with multiple repetitions. It consists for example of plié and tendu series and ballet bar aka barre exercises.

You need comfortable dance clothes and socks or soft ballet slippers for training.

Ballet Pointe Work Course

The ballet pointe course introduces you to the pointe work technique of the classical ballet by strengthening the ankles and practicing toe rises and balances by the barre. The classes are suitable for those who already know the basics of ballet dancing.

To attend the course, you should have your own pointe shoes.
