In this course, we will practice couple salsa figures, which are then combined in a fun rueda at the end of the class. Rueda (rueda de casino) is a style of salsa where pairs of couple salsa dancers form a circle and the dance partners change constantly, even in the middle of dance figures.
This course is suitable for couple salsa dancers on levels 2, 3 and 4.
You can sign up alone or with a partner. During the lessons, partners are changed in a circle. If you wish, you can also dance only with your own partner.
Anyone can participate in all Flama´s partner classes as a leader or follower, regardless of gender identity.
Time: Thursdays 15.1.–28.5. at 18:15–19:10

The course fee includes 17 × 55 min sessions. No class 26.2., 30.4. and 14.5.

For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Also take a water bottle with you and remember to drink enough after class.
Roberto “Robe” La Rosa Martinez. Roberto “Robe” La Rosa Martinez is a Cuban dancer and dance teacher whose sunny classes are full of joy and positive energy cannot be avoided!
Robe was born in Havana, and started performing as a child with the famous Tony Menendez in various companies, before studying at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA), the prestigious Cuban National School of Art, where he graduated as a professional dancer.
Robe combines his uncompromising professionalism with his own true love of dance. and teaching and confidence in finding one’s own dance style and – most importantly – the joy of dance.
