At Flama’s Timba Night, the music at Flama Linnankatu is 100 % Cuban Salsa. The bigger dance hall is reserved for Cuban Salsa and Son dancers the whole evening. In the smaller dance hall, you can enjoy bachata and kizomba/Urban Kiz instead.
The music will be provided by DJ Timbero!
The night starts with Matias Löyttöniemi’s Pre-Party Couple Salsa Workshop and the party is part of Matias’ Salsa Weekend.

If you only participate in the party without pre-party class, you can purchase your ticket at the door without pre-registration.
Remember to take your dance shoes or other indoor shoes with you because the shoes used outdoors will be left in the lobby.
Dance Studio Flama is located next to Turku Castle at Linnankatu 84. Bus Line 1 (Market Square–Turku Harbor) will stop just in front of Flama at the bus stop called Satamakatu. The bus trip from Market Square to the dance studio takes around 10 minutes. If you decide to come by your own car, there are free parking spaces behind the dance studio and other parking options nearby, such as chargeable parking lots or ones requiring a parking disk.
In September, Matias Löyttyniemi, a dance teacher and expert in Cuban dance and music, will come to Flama to hold his Cuban workshops. There will be both solo and couple salsa classes on Saturday, the 21st of September, and on Sunday, the 22nd of September.
