Saturday’s Lyrical Jazz workshop will include calm warm-ups and choreography under Liisa’s inspiring guidance.
Lyrical jazz is based on jazz dance techniques, and the choreography uses the story of the music in movement, dynamics and expression.

The open level workshop is open to all, even if you have no experience of lyrical jazz in particular. However, other previous dance experience is a good idea.
Liisa Rantola on valmistunut tanssinopettajaksi Savonia ammattikorkeakoulusta 2020, syventävänä aineenaan jazztanssi. Tanssijaksi hän on valmistunut Pohjois-Karjalan ammattiopistosta 2016. Liisalla on kokemusta eri tanssilajien opettamisesta erilaisille ryhmille. Tällä hetkellä hän työskentelee tanssinopettajana Turun seudulla ja toimii tanssijana Tampereella Tanssiteatteri MD:llä.
The interaction between music and movement as well as choreography are Liisa’s greatest interests. As an instructor, Liisa is inspiring and encouraging. She creates a happy atmosphere with her own energy. For Liisa, dancing is not only a profession but it is also a joy in life and she wants to share this joy of dance with everyone.
