Contemporary Dance
Contemporary Dance is a so-called umbrella style under which several different dance styles can fit. Contemporary Dance is influenced both by art and different dance styles. During the workshop, you will learn about the economical use of your body and how to take use of gravity in the movements. Floor work is also an important part of the training. The workshop also includes a variety of guided improvisation exercises that allow the dancer to unleash their own creativity. In the end of the workshop, everything learned during class are summed up in a coherent choreography.

Pauliina will introduce dancers to the basic elements of the Heels technique, such as walking, weight transfers and alignments. After the warm-up, we will go through technical elements in the form of different walking exercises At the end of the class, we will focus on putting our souls into dancing with a choreography.
