Valtteri Palin is a dancer and dance teacher from Turku, and he is also a coach in the Dancing with the Stars TV show in 2023. Valtteri’s main dance styles are ballroom and Latin dances. His classes have a communal and inspiring atmosphere.
In these workshops, we will be dancing Ballroom Rumba. Ballroom Rumba is a dance genre known for its rhythmic and emotional atmosphere. In ballroom dances, Rumba belongs to Latin American dances, and the dance is originally based on e.g. Cuban Son. The steps of Ballroom Rumba are characterized by smooth movements, soft turns and emotional expression.
