Come and bring your Afrobeat knowledge up to date! Afrobeats is an umbrella term for urban African dances and music genre that inspire many dancehall artists nowadays. Afrobeats in return is influenced by Jamaican dancehall, western street styles and from many other dance styles. Afrobeats is also danced in Finnish clubs today.
During the afrobeats workshop, you will get to know how to dance inter alia hit dances like Gwara Gwara, Shaku Shaku and Zanku. Based on these dances, we will create a choreography. During the workshop, you will learn the latest Afrobeats figures and simultaneously get a real sweat and have fun.
