Lotta 40 years \u2013 Birthday Dance Special"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be turning 40 in August\u2014and what better way to celebrate than by dancing at Flama, my beloved workplace and dance studio.<\/p>\n\n<p>To celebrate, there will be two workshops on dance styles that hold a special meaning for me.<\/p>\n\n<p>Show jazz is the style with which I began my career as a dance instructor over 20 years ago. Voguing, on the other hand, was the first style I taught at Flama when I started working here in 2019. <\/p>\n\n<p>Now is a great chance to join classes for styles I don\u2019t normally teach anymore. We\u2019ll go over the history and significance of the style and learn the five elements of vogue femme through hands-on exercises. <\/p>\n\n<p>The class focuses on self-expression and attitude\u2014everyone is welcome to come as they are and find their own way of moving. <strong>The class is open level<\/strong>, and no prior experience with voguing is required.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lotta L\u00e4hteenm\u00e4ki<\/h3>\n\n<p>Lotta L\u00e4hteenm\u00e4ki graduated as a dance teacher in 2010 and has been teaching dance for over 20 years. Her teaching experience covers a wide range of genres, levels, and age groups. Lotta&#8217;s teaching combines the joy of movement, technical expertise, and a deep connection to one&#8217;s own body.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Lotta is also a trained yoga instructor and dance and movement therapist. These backgrounds are reflected in her teaching through gentleness, body awareness, and a compassionate approach to learning. Her classes have a warm, positive, and safe atmosphere where everyone is welcome to be themselves.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For Lotta, dance and movement are a lifelong love and source of strength.
