Commercial Dance is a dance class that combines and draws on techniques from various dance styles while embracing a bold, music-video-inspired attitude. During class, you\u2019ll immerse yourself in choreographies of different styles and have fun together!<\/p>\n
You can participate in an open-level class if you are familiar with the basic techniques of the particular dance style.<\/p>\n
Twerk, which has gained great popularity around the world, focuses on movements of the pelvic area. The moves learned in class can also be used, for example, on the dance floor at a party! During twerk classes, you will become familiar with a variety of techniques, such as shaking, jiggle, thrusting, hip throwing, bouncing, and some floorwork. The class begins with a warm-up, followed by an introduction to some basic movements. Twerking improves overall physical fitness, especially strengthening the back, thighs, glutes, and abdominal muscles.

The level for improvers is suitable for you if you already know the basics of the dance style. This level is usually suitable for those who have been practicing actively and regularly for about half a year or a year.<\/p>\n
Anna began her journey as an instructor already in lower secondary school, when she coached various gymnastics groups. In 2018\u20132019, she completed a one-year preparatory dance instructor programme at Etel\u00e4-Pohjanmaan Opisto. She began teaching dance in autumn 2021.<\/p>\n
As an instructor, Anna is energetic, encouraging, and attentive to dancers of all levels. The most important things in her classes are having fun and discovering and learning new things.<\/p>\n
Her main dance styles are twerk, heels, and commercial dance.<\/p>\n
In 2025, Anna won the Finnish Championship in twerk, and she also has competition experience from abroad. Professionally, Anna teaches a variety of dance classes and works as a dancer at different events, including festivals and clubs.<\/p>\n
