Couple salsa class for Beginners<\/span><\/h3>\n

In this beginner’s lesson you will practice the basic steps of the Cuban couple salsa; casino, rhythm, a few simple basic patterns and the technique of exporting and following – and above all, get excited about the wonderful salsa! You can try out the salsa steps you\u2019ve learned right away on the dance floor at the evening\u2019s salsa parties.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a voluntary exchange circle, where you swap pairs during the class. You can also dance with your own partner for the whole class if you wish. <\/span><\/p>\n

The teacher is Anna Ketopaikka, founder of Dance Studio Flama, who has been dancing Cuban salsa for over 15 years and has been teaching couple salsa since 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

The evening’s live performances<\/span><\/h3>\n

The program for the Kaivo Summer Fiesta offers a diverse mix of dance and live music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Flama\u2019s own dance groups<\/span>\u2014Flama Crew, La Calentura,<\/b> and Flamacitas<\/b>\u2014bring the diverse flavors of Latin dance to the stage in the form of spectacular performances.<\/span><\/p>\n

Experienced DJ Papi <\/b>will be setting the tone for the evening, who keeps the dance floor moving all night long with salsa, timba, son, and bachata. Live energy for the evening is provided by <\/span>Grupo Kaney<\/b>, whose music blends Caribbean rhythmic traditions with a modern touch. The band\u2019s lead singer is the charismatic <\/span>Reynier G\u00f3mez.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Cuban artist Mr. Robert El Gatillo<\/b>, together with the Trinitas Dancers<\/b>, will also get the crowd going<\/span> with a high-energy show that\u2019s sure to leave no one cold.<\/p>\n

A hot summer evening and a fun salsa experience awaits you on Saturday, the 1st of August, in the stunning setting of Kaivohuone in Naantali!<\/p>\n

The evening kicks off with an engaging beginner’s class in couple salsa, where you can get a taste of salsa steps in a relaxed setting. The class is led by Anna Ketopaikka, founder of Tanssistudio Flama. No prior dance experience is necessary!<\/p>\n

After the dance, enjoy a delicious buffet dinner while spectacular dance performances set the mood for the evening. As the night goes on, the dance floor fills with rhythm as the Grupo Kaney salsa band and DJ Papi get the party going. Get ready for authentic Cuban energy, live music, and an unforgettable salsa party atmosphere that lasts until the small hours of the night.<\/p>\n

At Kaivo Summer Fiesta, you\u2019ll learn new moves, enjoy great food, and groove to Cuban rhythms\u2014come experience the thrill of salsa dancing for the first time, or fall in love with it all over again!<\/p>\n

You can join us alone, with a friend, or even with your partner. In the beginner\u2019s salsa class, we switch partners in a circle, and Flama makes sure the pairs are balanced. If you prefer, you can also dance only with your own partner.<\/p>\n
