What if I can’t participate every week?<\/h3>\n

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.<\/a><\/p>\n

What should I bring with me?<\/h3>\n

For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Take your water bottle with you.<\/p>\n

Reggaeton<\/h3>\n

Reggaeton is a dance style born in the beginning of 1990s and it is is nowadays a globally popular dance and music style that has been influenced by various South and Central American dance styles, such as Dancehall, different Afro dances as well as Hip Hop. for example. Reggaeton has its roots in countries such as Panama, Puerto Rico and Cuba.<\/p>\n

Reggaeton is characterized by strong dynamic fluctuations, polyrhythmics and playing with chest and hip isolation in particular. The style is characterized by strong dynamic contrasts: powerful, fast accents alternate with soft, sensual movements in reggaeton. Reggaeton classes are full of power, energy and attitude!<\/p>\n

Alex Rodriguez<\/h3>\n

Alex Rodriguez is a Cuban street dancer who dances with the Cuban Loyal Dance Company. LDC is a dance company sponsored by Planet Records, which performs in music videos for local artists and at various club nights.<\/p>\n

In addition to the LDC, Alex occasionally teaches at dance schools around Havana. The most famous dance school where Alex has taught is called La Casa del Son. Numerous Finns have also come there to learn.<\/p>\n

Alex has gained experience in dancing and teaching several different dance styles. He is most passionate about street dance, but he also dances Cuban salsa and kizomba.<\/p>\n

As a teacher, Alex is thorough and patient and maintains a relaxed atmosphere in his classes. His energy is quickly transmitted to his students, and there is no shortage of laughter or fun.<\/p>\n

Welcome to dance energetic reggaeton! In the beginner’s course, we will practice various reggaeton techniques from the basics and dance short choreographies. Not forgetting the attitude and power typical of reggaeton!<\/p>\n

This course is suitable for beginner dancers who already have some dance experience or a background in other physical activities.<\/p>\n
