What if I can’t participate every week?<\/h3>\n

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.<\/a><\/p>\n

What should I bring with me?<\/h3>\n

For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Also take a water bottle with you and remember to drink enough after class.<\/p>\n

Level 3 (n. 2\u20133 year)<\/h3>\n

This level is suitable for those who have been dancing weekly for about two years. At this level, skills that we have become familiar with at the previous levels are deepened, varied and practiced. In addition, we will learn new figures and enhance the use of the body.<\/p>\n

Anna Ketopaikka<\/h3>\n

Dance captured Anna’s heart at an early age: she started dancing at the age of 5 in Ballet classes at the Tampere Ballet Institute. Over the years, she continued to study dance, including Jazz and Show Dance. Since 2010, Anna has focused intensively on Cuban dances. She trained as a salsa instructor with Cuban Ram\u00f3n Silverio and she has been teaching since 2014.<\/p>\n

“I founded Flama out of a burning passion for dance and movement. Dance has brought so much energy, strength, presence and dear friends to my life and I want to be able to share this pleasure to others as well. In my classes, I want to inspire people above all to find strength and joy in everyday life through dance.”<\/p>\n

At Flama, Anna teaches Cuban Salsa (solo and couple salsa) and other Cuban dances, such as son and rumba, as well as bachata and reggaeton.<\/p>\n

In this course, we practice music interpretation, body movements, figures and the techniques of leading and following in Cuban Salsa.<\/p>\n

The course is suitable for those who have been dancing Cuban salsa weekly for about two years.<\/p>\n

You can sign up alone or with a partner. During the lessons, partners are changed in a circle. If you wish, you can also dance only with your own partner.<\/p>\n

Anyone can participate in all Flama\u00b4s partner classes as a leader or follower, regardless of gender identity.<\/p>\n
