What if I can’t participate every week?<\/h3>\n

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.<\/a><\/p>\n

What should I bring with me?<\/h3>\n

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and feel good.<\/p>\n

The pants should be made of loose material, because it is more difficult to perform twerk techniques in very tight leggings. You can dance in indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. The course also includes floor work, so it is a good idea to bring knee pads or leg warmers to protect your knees. Knee pads are also available for purchase in our online store and studios. Be sure to bring a water bottle with you.<\/p>\n

Metal Booty Queen Performance<\/h3>\n

Rock your booty! If you are a fan of heavier music and twerk, this course is for you. In these classes, we twerk to metal and hard rock music. The classes focus on a choreography designed by Salla Siniranta, incorporating various hip techniques familiar from twerking. The sessions begin with warm-ups and practice the techniques featured in the choreography.<\/p>\n

Salla Siniranta<\/h3>\n

Salla has been teaching Twerk and Commercial Dance at Flama since 2020. She has more than 25 years of dancing experience. Salla has lead many performing dance groups and she has been a member in many performing dance groups as well. She now leads Flama’s Twerk and Commercial Dance Group The Honeys.<\/p>\n

In Salla’s classes, the most important thing is to feel good, to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to enjoy the movement and maybe even exceed yourself! Learning the right and safe twerk techniques is important to Salla, and a lot of effort is put into it in Salla’s classes, especially in the classes for beginners.<\/p>\n

Salla aims to create a safe environment in her classes where everyone feels welcome. Without forgetting humor! Welcome to Salla’s classes just as you are.<\/p>\n

Rock your booty! If you are a fan of heavier music and twerking, this course is for you. In the course, we work on Salla Siniranta\u2019s twerk choreography, which will be performed at the Flama Spring Show on Wednesday 27.5.<\/p>\n

The course is suitable for those who have mastered basic twerk techniques, for example, participants of beginner twerk courses.<\/p>\n
