What if I can’t participate every week?<\/h3>\n

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.<\/a> <\/p>\n

What should I bring with me?<\/h3>\n

For the class, it is recommended to wear clothes that are comfortable to move around in. You can dance with indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Also take a water bottle with you and remember to drink enough after class.<\/p>\n

Roberto La Rosa Martinez<\/h3>\n

Roberto \u201cRobe\u201d La Rosa Martinez. Roberto \u201cRobe\u201d La Rosa Martinez is a Cuban dancer and dance teacher whose sunny classes are full of joy and positive energy cannot be avoided!<\/p>\n

Robe was born in Havana, and started performing as a child with the famous Tony Menendez in various companies, before studying at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA), the prestigious Cuban National School of Art, where he graduated as a professional dancer.<\/p>\n

Robe combines his uncompromising professionalism with his own true love of dance. and teaching and confidence in finding one\u2019s own dance style and \u2013 most importantly \u2013 the joy of dance.<\/p>\n

Son is an elegant Cuban music and dance style, often referred to as the “mother” of Salsa, as Cuban Son is the foundation of Cuban Salsa. The rhythm\/timing of the steps and movements in Son is contratiempo, i.e. different from Salsa.<\/p>\n

This course is suitable for couple salsa dancers on levels 2, 3 and 4.<\/p>\n

You can sign up alone or with a partner. During the lessons, partners are changed in a circle. If you wish, you can also dance only with your own partner. <\/p>\n

Anyone can participate in all Flama\u00b4s partner classes as a leader or follower, regardless of gender identity.<\/p>\n
