What if I can’t participate every week?<\/h3>\n

Absences from classes can be made up during the same term in any other class or drop-in session. This way, no dance session will be wasted! Read more.<\/a> <\/p>\n

What should I bring with me?<\/h3>\n

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and feel good.<\/p>\n

You can dance in indoor sneakers, dance shoes, or socks. Also take a water bottle with you and remember to drink enough after class.<\/p>\n

Commercial Dance<\/h3>\n

Commercial dance classes seek to cultivate a bold attitude reminiscent of music videos, combining and utilizing techniques from different dance styles. The main focus of the classes is on dancing choreographies, but we also practice the techniques needed for choreography and focus on performing and developing and trusting your own unique body language. The course lets you throw yourself into different styles of choreography and have fun together! <\/p>\n

Lotta L\u00e4hteenm\u00e4ki<\/h3>\n

Lotta L\u00e4hteenm\u00e4ki graduated as a dance teacher in 2010 and has been teaching dance for over 20 years. Her teaching experience covers a wide range of genres, levels, and age groups. Lotta’s teaching combines the joy of movement, technical expertise, and a deep connection to one’s own body. <\/p>\n

Lotta is also a trained yoga instructor and dance and movement therapist. These backgrounds are reflected in her teaching through gentleness, body awareness, and a compassionate approach to learning. Her classes have a warm, positive, and safe atmosphere where everyone is welcome to be themselves. <\/p>\n

For Lotta, dance and movement are a lifelong love and source of strength. She believes that movement can heal, liberate, and empower\u2014and that everyone has the right to find their own way of expressing themselves through dance. <\/p>\n

At Flama Lotta teaches Heels, Commercial Dance and Yoga.<\/p>\n

Would you like to dance like a music video star? Commercial dance classes combine and utilize techniques from different dance styles and encourage a bold, music video-inspired attitude. In this course, we dance to the beat of current and past hit songs and throw ourselves into different choreographies. In addition to dance skills, you will get to practice empathy and finding your own body language. <\/p>\n

This course is suitable for those who already have some dance experience, for example, those who have participated in a beginner’s course in commercial dance.<\/p>\n
