Pauliina’s contemporary dance class offers space for versatile use of the body and surrendering to gravity—without forgetting the joy of movement. The class begins with a warm-up to awaken the body, followed by floor-based technical and rhythmic exercises performed throughout the studio. Towards the end of the class, the earlier exercises come together as a longer movement sequence, focusing on continuity of movement and different movement directions. Everyone moves from the starting point of their own body, listening to their body’s needs.

n the Heels class, you will learn to dance in heels naturally and confidently. Pauliina’s class covers the basic elements of Heels technique, including walking, weight transfers and body alignment. Following a versatile warm-up, technique is explored through walking and across-the-floor exercises. Finally, you will immerse yourself in Pauliina’s choreography, creatively combining precise details with fluid movement.
