The Start of Our Spring Season Is Postponed Due to the Covid Restrictions

Dear dancers,

Regional State Administrative Agency of Southwestern Finland has published an order for the closure of sports facilities until the 15th of January, so we, unfortunately, have to postpone the start of Flama’s spring season as well as some of the workshops in January. The restrictions are valid at the moment until the 15th of January, so our spring season is supposed to start on Sunday, 16th of January 2022, and it will be extended until the 3rd of June 2022.

We will inform participants of all courses and workshops about these changes and replacement course dates by email. We have over 90 classes per week, so the information will not be available for everyone right away. Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, we also have to be prepared for the fact that the restrictions may be extended for a longer period, in which case we would have to postpone the start of the season even further. We will let you know as soon as we know for sure when we will be able to open our studio again. However, we truly hope that we can dance with you all again as soon as possible.

Here are the new dates for the workshops canceled in January:

• Show Burlesque workshops (4.1.2022) > cancelled, the participants will be informed about refunds via email
• Mirka’s Slow Rumba Basics (5.1.2022) > cancelled, the participants will be informed about refunds via email
• Reggaeton Basics (5.1.2022) > new date: the 12th of March 2022 at 12:00–13:15
• Epiphany’s Twerk workshops (6.1.2022) > new date: Saturday, the 29th of January from 12:00 onwards
• Beginners’ Twerk workshop (8.1.2022) > new date will be published soon
• Heels Technique Workshop (12.1.2022) >  new date: Thursday, the 24th of February at 18:00–20:00
