In this 7 sessions voguing course, we get to know about ballroom culture and its history, as well as learn vogue femme as a dance style and the five elements of femme. The classes consist of warm-ups, practice of the elements, freestyle and end routines. We will start from the very basics, so you do not need to have any previous dance experience in voguing!
The course fee includes 7 x 55 min sessions.

Teacher: Lotta Lähteenmäki
Lotta is a dance teacher, dancer, and yoga instructor from Turku. She has been teaching different dance styles for over 15 years and for different age groups. Lotta graduated from Oulu University of Applied Sciences in 2010 and became a professional dance teacher. As a dancer, she has a strong background – Lotta has been dancing and performing for example on cruise ships, on television, and in dance videos.
At Flama, Lotta teaches voguing that she has been dancing since 2010. Lotta has learned about voguing and ballroom culture inter alia in New York with the pioneers of the style. In Finland, she has participated in several Vogue Balls and workshops. The atmosphere at the classes is relaxed, but you can also challenge yourself if you wish. Everyone has the class just for themselves. Anyone interested in voguing is welcome to join the classes to glow!
