Would you like to dance for cheerful Latin rhythms? In this course aimed at over 60-year-olds, we will be dancing different Latin dances in a sunny athmosphere! This course will definitely bring you joy and energy to your everyday life.
The classes are held on Tuesdays 29.8.–5.12.2023 at 11:00–11:55.

Level: advanced beginners (suitable for those who have danced some Latin dances before, for example participated in Mirka’s Latin Solo 60 + classes for beginners)

Mirka has a long history of different dance styles. She started dancing at the age of seven with ballroom dancing and continued until her teenage years. She found dance again in 2010 and got into Latin rhythms, especially Cuban dances. After that, she has tried several different dance styles, such as broadway, twerk, pole dance and various partner dances. However, Show Burlesque took her heart and gave a whole new meaning for dancing. None of Mirka’s classes is identical. Years of experience is reflected in insightful and skilled choreographies that have been inspired by all the dance styles Mirka has danced. As a teacher, Mirka is engaging and determined, but relaxed at the same time. There is always a cheerful atmosphere in the classes. According to Mirka, the most important thing in teaching is the joy of dancing, enjoying the music and your own movement, and testing the limits.
Mirka has been part of different dance groups. Earlier she was the choreographer and one of the dancers in the Show Burlesque dance group called glamGRLS’n’pantyHOES. Mirka is currently leading two performing dance groups: Show Burlesque group Flaming firecrackers and Latin show group Flama Crew.
