Paula Vuorela’s workshops on Saturday, the 27th of October at Dance Studio Flama.

Age limit: 15 years. The classes are suitable for everyone who has some previous dance experience.

VOGUING
Voguing is part of Ballroom culture that started in the 1960s in Harlem, New York among LGBT minority. The dance style is characterized by poses, sharp lines, musicality and the self-confident attitude.

During the Voguing femme – class, we will practice both soft, feminine technique and choreography. Join the class with the clothes and shoes you feel comfortable with.

COMMERCIAL HIP HOP
During the class, we will get familiar with the teacher’s dance and the aim is to find your own dance style. Different rhythmics, performing, moves, dynamics and coordination are in the core of the class. Commercial Hip Hop classes are filled with R&B, hiphop, house, jazzfunk and rap. Especially music videos of different artists have inspired this dance style.

PAULA VUORELA
Paula Vuorela has been teaching show dance, street dance, contemporary dance and voguing in Helsinki for about four years and she has performed in different events and festivals.
