Flama’s couple salsa and couple bachata courses for spring 2021 have been published and you are able to sign up for them. Welcome to dance couple salsa with Anna and Matias and couple bachata with Pinja.
Unlike other weekly classes at our studio, there are separate course fees for our couple salsa courses and you sign up for the whole spring term.
Attention! Before paying for the courses, please send us an email to info@flama.fi to check the number of places available and to tell whether you dance as a leader or a follower.
With the Spring 2021 Anytime Card, you can get to these courses without any additional fee. In that case, sign up for the courses by purchasing the Anytime card and sending your sign up by email: info@flama.fi.
If you want to pay for the courses with a sport or cultural benefit (Smartum, Tyky, Edenred, ePass, Eazybreak), please register for the courses by sending an email to info@flama.fi.
We will start with couple salsa courses in the beginning of January 2021 with Anna Tolppa and Matias Löyttyniemi.
Anna’s Couple Salsa Courses 1 & 2 on Sundays, January 17 – June 6 and Couple Salsa 2 on Tuesdays, January 12 – May 25
The courses are instructed by Anna Tolppa.
Each couple salsa course on Sundays costs 200 €/person/course.
The course fees include 19 x 55 min couple salsa classes. There are no classes on Easter Sunday, the 4th of April, and on Mother’s Day, the 9th of May 2021.
The Couple Salsa 2 course on Tuesdays costs 210 €/person and the course fee includes 20 x 55 min couple salsa classes. The first class is held on Tuesday, the 12th of January 2021.
During the courses, you will get familiar with the basic steps of salsa and we will practice rhythmics, simple figures as well as techniques of both leading and following.

Beginners’ Couple Salsa Course, level 1 on Sundays at 17:15–18:10
Course level: level 1
This level is meant for very beginners. In other words, you do not need to have any dance experience or knowledge about couple salsa to attend this course.
Couple Salsa Course, level 2 on Sundays at 18:15–19:10 (Full)
Course level: level 2
This level is meant for those who have been dancing couple salsa weekly for half a year. If you have for example participated in Anna’s intensive couple salsa course or Matias’ beginners’ couple salsa course in autumn, this course is a direct follow-up to those courses.
Couple Salsa Course, level 2 on Tuesdays at 20:15–21:10
Course level: level 2
This level is meant for those who have been dancing couple salsa weekly for half a year. If you have for example participated in Anna’s intensive couple salsa course or Matias’ beginners’ couple salsa course in autumn, this course is a direct follow-up to those courses.
Matias’ Couple Salsa Courses on Mondays, January 11 – May 31
The courses are instructed by Matias Löyttyniemi.
Each couple salsa course on Mondays costs 200 €/person/course.
The course fees include 20 x 55 min couple salsa classes. There are no classes on Easter Monday, the 5th of April.

These courses are instructed by Matias Löyttyniemi.
Levels for Flama’s couple salsa courses:
LEVEL 1
This level is meant for very beginners. In other words, you do not need to have any dance experience or knowledge about couple salsa to attend this course.
LEVEL 2
This level is meant for those who have been dancing couple salsa weekly for half a year. If you have for example participated in Anna’s intensive couple salsa course or Matias’ beginners’ couple salsa course this autumn, this course is a direct follow-up to those courses.
LEVEL 3
This level is meant for those who have been dancing couple salsa regularly for 1–2 years (at least one year). For example, if you participated in Matias’ advanced beginners’ couple salsa courses this spring and autumn, this course probably suits you.
LEVEL 4
This level is meant for those who have been dancing couple salsa regularly for a longer time, over two years. For example, if you participated in Matias’ intermediate couple salsa courses this spring and autumn, this course probably suits you.
Pinja’s Sensual Bachata 1 & 2 Courses on Wednesdays, January 13 – May 26
The courses are instructed by Pinja Simola.
Each couple bachata course on Wednesdays costs 210 €/person/course.
The course fees include 20 x 55 min couple bachata classes. The first sessions will be held on Wednesday, the 13th of January 2021.

Sensual Bachata 2 Course at 18:15–19:10 (places for leaders available, otherwise full)
