Flama’s rental terms and conditions

Rental time and price

Flama’s premises have an hourly rental. The price of the rent for the entire studio is 50 €/h + 70 € cleaning fee. The minimum rental time for a party is 7 hours. If you rent the premises for example from 6 pm to 1 am (7 hours in total), the price is 350 € + 70 € cleaning fee = 420 € (including 24 % VAT).

Your rental period starts when you come to prepare the premises, i.e. the time when we can no longer use our dance halls for dancing. The end of the rental period must always be agreed in advance.

Use of the dance halls

Flama Linnankatu has oak parquet intended for dancing in the dance halls, so you cannot use outdoor shoes in the premises. You must use only indoor shoes or socks at our studio. The hall downstairs has laminate flooring.

Flama Rauhankatu has also oak parquet intended for dancing, so you cannot use outdoor shoes in those premises either.

No smoke machines may not be used in the premises, and confetti is not allowed as decoration. In addition, nothing may be taped or glued to the floor, windows or mirrors.

Equipments

The space rental includes all the devices and equipment listed below, and you can freely use them during the rental.

• audio equipment
• disco lights
• a kitchen with its equipments
• tables and chairs

The large dance halls have great sound systems that also include a mixer. You can easily connect a phone or a computer with aux connection.

Food and drinks

You can bring your own food and drinks to our premises. It is a good idea to bring your own serving dishes and cutlery, as our studio has a limited supply of them.

You should also bring your own tablecloths with you, because we do not have them ready at our studio.

Cleaning

We will take care of the final cleaning for you, and its price is an obligatory addition fee of 70 €.

However, you must collect all trash and place it in waste bags. Empty cans and bottles must be placed in separate waste bags, i.e. separated from other waste. You can leave the waste bags in the kitchen. The premises must be empty, including all your belongings as well as all trash, cans and bottles collected in waste bags), for cleaning at the end of the rental period. Otherwise we have to charge an additional fee of 150 €.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel a confirmed reservation more than a week before or 7 days prior to the reservation date, you must pay half of the rent you booked. If you cancel after that, i.e. less than 7 days before the reservation date, you must pay the entire rent. In that case, the cleaning fee is not charged.

Other rental terms

The renter of the premises is obliged to compensate for the damages caused by the actions of the users during the hall rental and is responsible for the users in the space during the reservation. If Dance Studio Flama’s furniture, equipment and other belongings are damaged during the hall rental, the renter is obliged to fully compensate Flama Ltd for all damages. If there are minors at the event, at least one responsible adult must be present.
