On Sunday, the 11th of November, Hanna Heinonen will come to Dance Studio Flama to give her dance and body maintenance workshops. First we will have a speedy dance class, CondiDance, after which we will calm down with Fascial exercises and singing bowls. The schedule of the day is the following:

CONFIDANCE
ConfiDance is a fast-paced dance class during which different styles from Latin dance types to Belly dance, twerk dance and dancehall are used. The choreographies and step sequences are easy, with the aim of enjoying the movement and different rhythms. The class emphasizes attitude and feeling and encourages everyone to accept themselves as they are.

FASCIAL
Fascial is all about mobility and movement control exercises for holistic body maintenance. Stretching improves the mechanical properties of fascia, a sheet of connective tissue beneath the skin attaching, stabilizing, enclosing and separating muscles and other internal organs, and the right breathing combined with stretching plays an important roll in fascial exercises. The aim of this active and functional mobility training is the holistic well-being of the body.

Wear warm and flexible clothes and bring your own water bottle to the class. We do have our own mats at the studio.

SINGING BOWLS RELAXATION
The singing bowls relaxation is used for deep relaxation and stress reduction. The rich blend of harmonic overtones takes our minds to different time and space. In its best, the relaxation corresponds three hours of sleep during the night. It helps to reduce stress, insomnia, anxiousness and body tension.

HANNA HEINONEN
Hanna Heinonen is a personal trainer, trained masseur, occupational therapist as well as group exercise and FAF’s fascial instructor. Hanna found the joy of dance at the age of 14, when she started oriental dance. Ever since, she has trained many different kind of styles. During Hanna’s classes, the focus is on the joy, improvement of self-confidence and enjoying of one’s own body.
