During the couple salsa class, you will learn basic steps and figures of Cuban couple salsa aka Casino. Furthermore, you will get familiar with its rhythmics as well as techniques of both leading and following. The principle of the class is to change the pair all the time, so you do not need to come to the class with your own partner. However, if you want to dance only with your own pair, that is also possible. Couple salsa is a speedy, happy, playful couple dance that offers a various range of possibilities to do different kind of styling. Casino can be spiced up with Cuban rumba, for example.
The numbers of years of training mentioned in the level descriptions are directional, as everyone develops at their own pace. Especially at the second and third levels, we encourage you to stay for several seasons, as there are a lot of things to learn. If you are wondering which level suits you the best, feel free to contact us and ask more: [email protected] Repeating and practicing the basics always improves enormously, so we also recommend attending courses that are lower than your actual skill level.
